Plan and teach physical education lessons for students across assigned grade levels.

Provide instruction in physical fitness, sports, movement skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle practices.

Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive environment during physical education activities.

Adapt activities and instruction to meet the needs and abilities of individual students.

Supervise students in the gymnasium, outdoor facilities, locker rooms, and other assigned areas.

Establish and maintain classroom expectations, routines, and appropriate student behavior.

Assess student participation, skill development, and understanding of physical education concepts.

Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and other required student records.

Communicate appropriately with students, families, teachers, administrators, and support staff.

Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, safety procedures, and district expectations.

Work collaboratively with other staff members to support student learning and development.
-
Maintain equipment and report safety concerns or maintenance needs as appropriate.
-
Perform other duties normally assigned to the Physical Education teaching position.
