Morning Supervision
  • Helps school teachers by assisting in routine non-teaching duties including

pupil supervision; does related work as required;

  • Promotes student responsibility for behavior and attitude as a role model, including

appropriate professional dress (uniform), language, and cooperative attitude; with a primary focus on building positive relationships with students;

  • Patrols and maintains a highly visible presence throughout the school day

   in corridors, lobby, cafeteria, restrooms, outside facilities, parking lots, and

   other unsupervised areas of the school to protect persons and property and

   the security of the facility and compliance with school rules;

  • Maintains order and ensures the safety and well-being of students and staff

   and security of facility and compliance with school rules;

  • Advises school officials of any situation that may create potential harm to

   individuals or damage to or loss of property of students, faculty, and staff;

  • Displays ethical and professional behavior in working with students, school personnel,

parents/guardians, and outside agencies working with the school district;

  • Protects the confidentiality of records and information about students and staff;
  • Acts as liaison with local law enforcement agencies and other emergency

   personnel a directed by the Superintendent of Schools.

Teachers Aide

Job Summary

A Teacher’s Aide supports classroom teachers in delivering instruction, managing students, and maintaining a positive learning environment. They assist with academic, behavioral, and administrative tasks to help ensure students succeed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to students
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, orderly environment
  • Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Supervise students during class, recess, lunch, and field trips
  • Prepare instructional materials, bulletin boards, and classroom displays
  • Monitor and record student progress as directed by the teacher
  • Assist with grading assignments and organizing records
  • Help with classroom setup and cleanup
